The John Paul II Vatican Foundation celebrates 45 years
Established on October 16, 1981, by Pope John Paul II himself, the non-profit organization stands as a living testament to the legacy of the Polish Pontiff. Its president, Monsignor Ptasznik, says: “We want to keep the memory of Saint John Paul II increasingly alive and, at the same time, bring his legacy into the present, making it relevant to today’s world and to the world of tomorrow.”
